Get involved with our Thanksgiving Bonanza (Nov.21st-26th)! Spread the word!

Starting November 21st and going through November 26th Long Island Food Not Bombs will be holding it’s largest endeavor to date; it will include parties, Food Shares, copious amounts of decadent foods, the sharing of clothing, books and the organized efforts of hundreds of community members.

New Zine issue, radio Interviews, big events and the fight for the people of Hempstead.

First and foremost, the latest issue of our community zine, “AS OF YET, [UNNAMED].” Has just been released and we welcome you to download it and share your thoughts back with us. Our hope is that we can create another means of dialogue between communities across Long Island (Suffolk, Nassau, Brooklyn & Queens) and it's surrounding areas, NYC, Bronx, Jersey, and anywhere else where people are having similar experiences...

LIFNB Vegan Fall Festival in Hempstead Today!

Today's Long Island Food Not Bombs weekly Food Share in Hempstead will be moved to Mirschel Park for a community building Fall Festival/BBQ. We will be sharing prepared food and might be cooking on site. Mirschel Park is located at the intersection of Terrace Ave & Atlantic Ave (about 4-5 blocks from where we currently set up).

Today's LIFNB Fall Festival in Hempstead is Postponed due to rain. The Food Share will still be conducted outside the Hempstead Train Station. We still need your help with the Food Share so please come on down. We'll be moving the fall festival to a newer date, please stay tuned.
