Starting, November 23rd and going on through December 1st, Long Island Food Not Bombs and Community Solidarity, Inc. will be holding their largest endeavor to date; it will include parties, Food Shares, copious amounts of decadent meals, the sharing of clothing, books and the organized efforts of hundreds of community members.

Pies Not Bombs you say?
So heres the deal - Many people don't realize that the day after Thanksgiving is the most wasteful day of the year. Think about all those pumpkin and apple pies your local grocery store has stocked up; would you believe that most stores just toss them out after Thanksgiving Day?

Let's talk about the BIG PICTURE. Long Island Food Not Bombs does so so so much! We're a grassroots organization made up of over a thousand volunteers, we share millions of pounds of food each year and we've helped Tens of Thousands of people across Long Island and the NYC/Metropolitan area.
